Working on this two diffrent types of nokia phone are not the same each one of then have different ways day work that is also. The same thing with formatting. And resetting the. Security. Code. but the fact is that. There is no way you can do this without a pc computer
Here is my. Ways which I discover long time ago and it have really been working for me . 
1.First you will need to  Install the latest Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite.
2. After doing that now  Connect your nokia mobile phone to computer using  USB data cable,
and choose PC Suite or Ovi mode.
3.Now you will need to Open NSS pro. For those who don't know the meaning of ,NSS ( Nemesis Service Suite ) now you will need to UPDATE: Right click NSS pro, Run as
administrator.
4. The next thing you will have to do is to Click Read Info and you will see your phone details on
left side. Of your pc.
5.You will have  To enter phone test mode. And  Choose Test Mode. You can see this at the
bottom right and then  click the right arrow button (>) to
reboot phone.
6.Chack  Under Factory Settings, you will have to  choose Full Factory and
 click on  Reset. Now you are good to go your phone by now must have come back to your nornal factory. Reset code
